The Floating Island of Madness

Three secret agents. One madman. A floating island in the sky. When an unidentified aircraft streaks across the Arabian Desert, American, French, and British intelligence descend into pursuit. What begins as a routine interception becomes something far stranger: a chase that leads not to a hidden base, but to an impossible floating island suspended in the heavens, its peaks scraping the clouds. Algernon Frederick Fraser rules this aerial kingdom with a genius bordering on madness. His magnetic ray has torn chunks of earth loose from the planet's surface, anchoring them forever in the sky. Now he turns that terrible technology toward a single goal: global dominion. The three agents must put aside national rivalries and navigate traps designed to break the strongest minds, all while the island drifts ever closer to the world's great capitals. Part espionage thriller, part early science fiction fever dream, this 1920s pulp adventure captures the era's breathless optimism about technology and its darker mirror: what happens when brilliance curdles into something monstrous.
