The Airship "Golden Hind

Two men who traded their wings for civilian lives receive a telegram that pulls them back into the sky. Kenneth Kenyon and Peter Bramsdean, former Royal Air Force officers, answer the call of their old commanding officer Sir Reginald Fosterdyke and find themselves standing before the experimental airship Golden Hind, a revolutionary vessel poised to attempt what no airship has ever done: circle the globe in twenty days. The prize is substantial, but the competition is fierce, and a German count with questionable intentions is determined to win by any means necessary. As the Golden Hind lifts off into the unknown, the crew must navigate treacherous weather, mechanical uncertainties, and the shadow of a rival racing across continents ahead of them. Written in 1920 when the possibilities of flight still felt miraculous and terrifying, this novel captures the raw thrill of an era when the sky was a frontier and courage meant climbing into a vessel held aloft by hydrogen and hope. It is adventure at its purest: a race against time, against rivals, and against the limits of what anyone believed possible.
