The Adventurous Seven: Their Hazardous Undertaking

Seven children. One dangerous journey. A father's name to clear. The Plumstead siblings have not seen their father in seven long years. He is a doctor in Australia, far away, and silence has grown between them like a wound. When they learn he stands accused of malpractice, his seven children do not hesitate: they will sail across the world to stand beside him. But first, they must convince their guardian, Mr. Runciman, to fund the passage. Then comes the voyage itself, filled with the kind of challenges that test not just courage, but the unbreakable bond between siblings who have only had each other. Bessie Marchant crafts a story where family love becomes the truest form of bravery. Young readers will recognize themselves in the Plumstead children's determination, their fear, and their fierce loyalty. This is adventure fiction at its best: a reminder that sometimes the most hazardous undertakings are the ones we take for the people we love.
