The solar system is dying. Humanity has spread across all nine planets, but the population has grown beyond what any world can sustain. Cramped into airless habitats, breathing recycled air until it turns toxic, the species faces extinction, unless someone can build more room to live. Captain Future has a plan. He's devised a way to construct an entirely new planet in the void between Mars and Jupiter, a tenth world that could hold billions. The government backs him. The people celebrate him.
