Saboteur of Space
Earth is dying. The mines are hollow, the atmosphere is thinning, and Mars is watching its weaker sibling struggle with the cold patience of an heir. Captain Jansen has spent his life flying the spacelanes between worlds, but he's never faced anything like this: someone is sabotaging Earth's remaining rockets, one by one, cutting humanity off from the stars just as the Martian colonies prepare to make their move. Each destroyed vessel brings Earth closer to submission. Each explosion tightens the noose. Jansen must race through a labyrinth of political betrayal, ideological fanaticism, and personal doubt to find the saboteur before there's nothing left to save. The conspiracy runs deeper than he imagined, the stakes higher than he imagined, and the truth may cost him everything. This is 1940s pulp SF at its finest: a story about one pilot's fight to keep the lights on across the solar system.
