Pearl of Great Price
The Pearl of Great Price, written by Joseph Smith, Jr. and first published in 1851, is a collection of significant texts related to the faith and doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This work includes translations and writings by Smith, many of which were originally published in church periodicals. It became a standard work of the Church in 1880 and was divided into chapters and verses in 1902, with the 1920 edition being the version read in this recording.
