From Jungle to Java: The Trivial Impressions of a Short Excursion to Netherlands India

From Jungle to Java: The Trivial Impressions of a Short Excursion to Netherlands India, published in 1897 by Arthur Louis Keyser, is a travel narrative detailing the experiences of an officer stationed in the Malay Peninsula. The book contrasts the tranquil life in the jungle with the vibrant European colonial society in Java, exploring themes of cultural juxtaposition and personal introspection.
