Frank Allen at Gold Fork; Or, Locating the Lost Claim

Three friends at Rockspur Ranch spot a suspicious man lurking near their property, and their curiosity soon spirals into something far more dangerous. When a runaway pony knocks Frank Allen unconscious and flames erupt in the barn, the young hero must act fast to save those trapped inside. But the danger doesn't end there. Frank and his friends Lanky Wallace and Paul Bird soon realize the stranger's arrival is connected to familiar adversaries attempting to steal valuable treasure and that their ranch may hold the key to a long-lost gold claim worth finding. Set in the rugged American West, this 1926 adventure captures the excitement of youth confronting genuine peril. The boys' courage and resourcefulness are tested as they venture into unknown territory, facing both natural obstacles and shadowy enemies. What begins as suspicion of a strange intruder becomes a thrilling quest to locate hidden gold, with friendship and bravery as the only weapons these young heroes have. For readers who grew up on Hardy Boys and Tom Sawyer, this is frontier adventure at its most earnest: a tale where good boys do brave things, loyalty matters, and the West is still wild enough to hide secrets worth discovering.
