McDougall; to the West, 1860; taught school at Norway House; entered Methodist ministry, 1866, and ordained, 1874; for many years served in Alberta, first at Victoria, and later at Morley (Morgan, Canadian men and women of the time , 1912). // Also published, Montreal: C.W. Coates, 1895; Halifax, N.S.: S.F. Huestis, 1895; Toronto: Ryerson Press, [1895?]; 2nd edition, Toronto: W. Briggs, 1910 (267, [1]p.). For sequel, see Peel 443. This was the first volume published in a series covering McDougall's life as a missionary.
