Written by Alexander Pushkin in the early 19th century, 'Dubrowskij' tells the story of Wladimir Dubrowskij, the son of a minor nobleman whose estate is deceitfully seized by his father's former friend, Kirila Petrowitsch Trojekurow. In a quest for revenge, Dubrowskij turns to a life of robbery, targeting only the wealthy while sparing the poor. His life becomes complicated when he falls in love with Trojekurow's daughter, leading to a daring infiltration of her father's estate and ultimately his discovery.
