A young physicist in 1950s Hollywood invents something that could change everything, and then makes a movie mogul shrink to the size of a action figure. Our nameless hero just wanted to do legitimate research, but when Mr. Eammer, a ruthless studio head, catches wind of his revolutionary optical invention, the physicist becomes an unwilling architect of the most sensational Abominable Snowman movie ever conceived. What starts as a Faustian bargain with a greedy mogul spirals into chaos when the experiment malfunctions, leaving Eammer tiny, vulnerable, and at the mercy of the very industry he terrorized. Now the physicist must protect his dangerous creation, rescue Mary (his no-nonsense love interest who's somehow the only sensible person in Hollywood), and ensure the mogul doesn't get his hands on technology that could reshape reality itself. Zacks is clearly having a blast skewering Hollywood's creative desperation, and the result is a quick,acidic read that understands the real joke isn't the shrunken studio head, it's a system that turns everything, even science, into content.
