This volume features tales woven together by the character Shahrazad, who narrates them to her husband Shahryar to delay her execution. Notable stories such as 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves' and 'The Voyages of Sinbad the Sailor' originate from this collection. This edition is part of a larger series translated by Richard Burton.
