Beyond the Black River

The Black River marks the edge of civilization. Beyond it lies the wild,绿色的Pictish wilderness, and the men who venture across do so knowing they may never return. Conan the Cimmerian has taken silver to guard the border settlements pushing into Pictish territory, but the Picts have not surrendered quietly. They call up from the darkness the old gods and older horrors: saber-toothed cats, serpents vast as war galleys, and a demon-god whose very presence cracks the earth.
