In 1910, two sisters receive an invitation that would shock their social circle: a female friend actually knows how to drive an automobile. Barbara and Mollie Thurston set off for Newport with Ruth Stuart behind the wheel, Aunt Sallie chaperoning, and fellow friend Grace Carter along for the ride.
