Around the World in Ten Days

The year is 1920-something. Aviation is newborn, dangerous, and impossibly thrilling. When Paul Ross and Robert Giddings catch wind of an international air derby, their heads fill with impossible dreams. Why watch from the ground when they could fly? With audacity that only boys possessed in that optimistic age, they set out to build their own aircraft. The Sky-Bird II becomes their passport to adventure, but the road to the skies is paved with broken propellers, doubtful adults, and a troubled former pilot who may or may not know the difference between courage and recklessness. This is early aviation as only a child could imagine it: a world where ambition is enough, where the right plane can take you anywhere, and where the biggest risk is not crashing but never trying at all. A nostalgic adventure that captures the giddy optimism of an era when humanity first learned to fly.
