Vaihdokas

Vaihdokas, written by Juho Reijonen in the 1800s, tells the story of a boy named Jeriko growing up in a poor village in eastern Finland. Ostracized by superstitious villagers who believe he was switched at birth by Satan, Jeriko faces the loss of his mother, the only person who loves him. Throughout his journey to adulthood, he seeks his self-worth through nature and music, highlighting themes of identity and resilience in a challenging environment.
