The narrative hints at an upcoming meeting where Kanteleinen, the new school teacher, offers to step in as the association's leader amid the disorder and disinterest that have plagued it. He aims to bring a sense of purpose and responsibility to the group, confronting the challenges posed by both the youth and the apprehensive village elders as he strives to foster a positive environment for self-improvement.
