Tier im Walde
In 1836, young painter Ambrosius treks through the mist-shrouded forests of Austria's Salzkammergut, seeking inspiration for his art. Instead, he finds something far more dangerous: a string of 'accidents' that have claimed the lives of travelers, and a community quick to blame carelessness. When a sudden storm drives him to the home of a reclusive forester, Ambrosius expects only shelter. What he finds is a household shadowed by secrets, and himself increasingly entangled in a web of suspicion. When more accidents follow, the wandering artist becomes the convenient answer to a terrifying question. The forest closes in around him as whispers turn to accusation.
