The Vicious Delinquents

The solar system is a battlefield, and the youngest soldiers are the most ruthless. On the frozen plains of Callisto and the volcanic ridges of Io, teenage girls run crews that make or break the power dynamics of humanity's outer colonies. These aren't orderly future citizens. They're knife-wielding, loyalties-fickle gang leaders who learned early that tenderness is a liability. Vera has been away. She made a name as the baddest of the bad, then vanished into the void. Now she's back, and the game has changed. Her old allies have grown territorial, her enemies have multiplied, and the adults running the colonies are finally paying attention to the chaos their daughters have wrought. The question isn't whether Vera will claim her throne - it's whether the throne still exists, and whether she wants it. This is 1950s pulp at its unapologetic best: a period snapshot of anxieties about youth, gender, and power, wrapped in a space opera that treats teenage girls as genuinely dangerous.
