The Spirit of Toffee

Marc Pillsworth has enough problems. His wife is blowtorch-funding her theatrical career, his finances are on life support, and his job as an advertising executive requires him to sell toothpaste to people who already have teeth. Then George arrives. George is a ghost, and not a polite one. He haunts Marc's apartment, interrupts his meetings, and generally makes a shambles of the few things still going right. But George has a mission: to make amends for something, though getting him to explain what is like herding fog. Enter Toffee, an even stranger spirit who seems to have crawled out of Marc's subconscious, trailing unresolved childhood and bad decisions. The result is escalating chaos, spectral mishaps, and a man caught between his shrinking的现实 and increasingly absurd supernatural drama. Farrell writes with the manic energy of a man who realized that if you're going to fall apart, you might as well do it completely.
