The Primus Curse

The first crew vanished without a trace. The second died under circumstances no one can explain. Now Captain Evan Grimes and the crew of the Vulcan are heading into the dark, ordered to find out what happened on Primus, a world that has already claimed two expeditions. But as they descend through the planet's murky atmosphere, tension curdles into something worse: paranoia. Their instruments lie. Their memories slip. And something on Primus is waiting, patient and hungry, for minds to break. This is 1950s paranoid sci-fi at its leanest. In just 24 pages, Bill Wesley builds a masterpiece of creeping dread, where the real horror isn't what lives on Primus but what it does to the people who come looking. For fans of tight, atmospheric tales that leave you uneasy long after the final page.
