The Poors
The Poors, written by Harry Lorayne in the late 1950s, is a science fiction short story that follows Marryl Kramvit, an ambassador from Planet Six, during a goodwill tour of Earth. The narrative critiques the stark economic divide between the impoverished majority, known as the 'Poors,' and the wealthy elite. Through Kramvit's observations, the story highlights themes of poverty and societal disparity, while also reflecting on the influence of television and media on human lives.
