Space Blackout

A master navigator named Jerry Kos has witnessed the death of a world. He has seen Martian civilization crumble beneath an indifferent cosmos, and he has watched men choose to stay and face annihilation rather than abandon their homes, their soil, the lives they had built. Now he carries their story back to Earth, and with it a warning: humanity, the youngest civilization in the solar system, has been shown what waits in the vast dark between stars.
