Schüdderump Band 2

Schüdderump Band 2 is the second volume of Wilhelm Raabe's three-part novel, originally published in the 19th century. The title refers to the 'Schüdderump,' a Low German term for the death cart used during the plague to dispose of victims. The narrative intertwines the lives of various characters, exploring themes of birth and death through a blend of drama, tragedy, and dark comedy, as it traverses locations from the Harz region to Vienna and Italy, ultimately returning to Lauenhof near Quedlinburg.
