Published in 1915, 'Pollyanna's Debt of Honor' is the fifth book in the Pollyanna series by Harriet Lummis Smith. The story follows Pollyanna as she continues to spread her infectious happiness through her 'glad game.' This time, she focuses on helping Lorraine, a wealthy girl struggling to cope with the aftermath of a serious accident, and Paula Merrill, a young girl in need of support. Pollyanna's efforts to assist Lorraine fulfill her 'debt of honor' and lead her to true love highlight themes of compassion and resilience.
