Petunia Again: Sketches

''Petunia Again: Sketches'' by S. Elizabeth Jackson, first published in 1920, is a collection of essays and vignettes that humorously depict rural life in South Australia following World War I. The book features a series of sketches that portray the daily events, community happenings, and unique characters of the township of Petunia. With a blend of warmth and wit, Jackson captures the essence of country life, addressing topics from social gatherings to the challenges faced by returned soldiers, while celebrating the relationships and culture of the time.
