Out of the Triangle: A Story of the Far East

A young boy wanders the sun-scorched streets of ancient Alexandria, searching for his exiled brother. Timokles has been banished for converting to Christianity, a crime punishable by death under Roman law. Heraklas must now navigate a city where his brother's faith has made him an enemy of the state, yet where family loyalty burns brighter than any imperial decree. The narrative immerses readers in the visceral reality of late antiquity: the oppressive heat, the whispered prayers of Christians meeting in shadow, the ever-present danger of discovery. Through one boy's grief and determination, we witness the violent collision of empires old and new, pagan tradition and the faith that would soon conquer the known world. This is a story of what survives when everything is taken: a brother's love tested by theological conflict, and the quiet heroism of those who refuse to abandon their own.
