Le Vote Des Femmes

Le Vote Des Femmes, published in 1908 by Hubertine Auclert, is a feminist political treatise advocating for women's suffrage in France. Auclert critiques the notion of 'universal suffrage' as a misleading concept that excludes women, arguing that their participation is essential for true democracy and societal progress. The work combines passionate arguments, historical examples, and correspondence with political figures, highlighting Auclert's lifelong struggle for women's rights and her vision for a more equitable governance that includes both men and women.
