Keksijän Voitto: Romaani

Finland, 1922. Aapeli Penttilä is an inventor with a dry electric accumulator and a wireless telephone, breakthrough technologies that could reshape transportation. When German state officials take interest in his work, Penttilä finds himself at the center of an ambitious collaboration to manufacture electric cars and aircraft. But the novel takes a dramatic turn: as his flying machines take to the sky, they are deployed against the Cossack forces that have seized power in Moscow and across Russia. Written in the turbulent wake of revolution and civil war, this novel captures a moment when Finns imagined technology as both salvation and weapon. It is a strange, forward-looking artifact of its time: part utopian innovation story, part geopolitical adventure, part national fantasy of redemption through engineering prowess. The prose moves with earnest determination, the kind of faith in progress that feels both endearing and haunting a century later. For readers interested in early 20th-century speculative fiction, Finnish literary history, or the strange ways nations process their traumas through story.
