In the High Valley

"In the High Valley" (1894) is the fifth and final installment of Susan Coolidge's "What Katy Did" series. The novel follows siblings Lionel and Imogen Young as they leave England for the American High Valley, where Lionel aims to join a cattle business. Imogen struggles to adapt to her new surroundings, leading to tensions with Clover Templestowe, who is now married and living in the valley.
