Hoiman and the Solar Circuit

Hoiman Katz has one dream: bring professional wrestling to the solar system. As a promoter with more ambition than sense, he loads his wrestler Ray onto a rocket and sets out to conquer the cosmos, one gravity-defying match at a time. The Moon miners are strong but clueless. The Venusians have bizarre customs that make weight classes seem simple. And the Martians? The Martians have their own ideas about what constitutes entertainment. What begins as a harebrained business scheme becomes a串 chaos of cultural misunderstandings, spectacularly bad decisions, and the kind of interstellar spectacle that makes you wonder why no one tried this before. Written in the early 1950s with all the earnest optimism and wild imagination that decade brought to science fiction, this is a novella that knows exactly what it is: a gloriously silly space adventure where the real frontier isn't the solar system, but the absurdity of human ambition itself.
