Finding Youth: A Human Experience

Finding Youth: A Human Experience, published in 1921 by Gertrude Nelson Andrews, is a reflective narrative that explores the quest for vitality and meaning in later life. The story follows Harvey Allen, a 60-year-old man facing an identity crisis after losing his job, as he navigates societal views on aging and discovers a guiding 'Voice' that inspires him to reclaim his youthful spirit. This personal essay emphasizes that age does not define one's zest for life, culminating in the creation of a 'Youthland' colony for older individuals to thrive creatively and socially.
