Equation of Doom
Equation of Doom is a science fiction novel by Gerald Vance, published in February 1957 in Amazing Stories. The plot follows Jason Ramsey, a pilot stranded on the hostile planet Irwadi, as he navigates conflicts with local authorities and becomes involved in a quest for power linked to an ancient race known as proto-man. Alongside Margot Dennison and a timid Vegan girl named Vardin, Ramsey attempts to escape while grappling with the implications of uncovering powerful secrets, blending adventure, romance, and philosophical themes about power and survival.
