Dolly Reforming Herself: A Comedy in Four Acts
Dolly Reforming Herself: A Comedy in Four Acts is a play by Henry Arthur Jones, written in the early 20th century. The story follows Dolly, a charming young woman who resolves to improve her life by paying off debts and changing her habits after a stirring sermon. As she navigates her New Year's resolutions with her husband Harry and their family, themes of moral reformation, loyalty, and personal growth unfold amidst comedic situations. The arrival of Captain Wentworth adds complexity to the dynamics in their country-house setting.
