Derelict
Derelict
A dying ship from the stars drifts into orbit around a lonely satellite station, and suddenly a handful of astronauts hold humanity's future in their hands. The alien vessel is colossal, abandoned, its drive system potentially the most valuable discovery in history. But Captain Loomis sees only glory waiting to be claimed, while Second-in-Command John Sabo begins to suspect the truth hidden aboard may be far more dangerous than anyone realizes. When Sabo and engineer Brownie venture into the derelict, they find the alien crew's remains and a secret that threatens everything. As Loomis's ambition turns lethal, Sabo must choose between self-preservation and preventing catastrophe. This is 1950s science fiction at its finest: a claustrophobic tale of isolation, moral compromise, and the terrible price of discovery in the void.
