Der Dunkelgraf

The year is 1794. In the marshland village of Jahde, along the grey waters of the bay, young Ludwig Carl inherits more than a noble title - he inherits his family's bitter secrets and accumulated resentments. A young nobleman hungry for adventure and knowledge, Ludwig finds himself trapped in a web of inheritance disputes, ancient family grievances, and the cold calculating eyes of relatives who see him as either a threat or a pawn. When Count Wilhelm confronts Ludwig with barely concealed hostility, only the formidable intervention of their grandmother - the old Countess - prevents tragedy from unfolding. The serene landscape of Jahde Bay belies the brewing storm within these castle walls, where generational conflicts over property and power threaten to destroy everything the family has built.
