Delenda Est Carthago!

In this work, Pereira adopts the phrase ''Delenda est Carthago,'' famously attributed to the Roman statesman Cato the Elder, to call for action against the figurative ''Carthago'' — that is, the corrupt and morally bankrupt elements undermining Portuguese society.
