Death Walks on Mars

Mars was supposed to be their fortune. Instead, it became their grave. Terry and Leeda Carson left Earth chasing the old dream: strike it rich on a new frontier. They found something valuable on the red planet, something that made them targets. When ruthless killers come for their discovery, Terry winds up dead in the Martian sand, his blood staining the red dust that matches his hair. Leeda survives, but not for long if she stays exposed on a world that wants her dead. This is a revenge story wrapped in rust-colored skies and thin Martian air. The frontier isn't friendly here, and neither are the people who claw their way to other worlds. Ramm writes with the hardboiled punch of 1950s pulp, painting Mars as a place where death comes from above (the Sand Vultures with their poisonous tails) and below (the greedy men with their guns). The murder is methodical, the grief is raw, and the question isn't whether Leeda will seek vengeance, but whether the red planet will let her live long enough to get it. For fans of frontier noir and classic space opera, this is a compact, brutal tale of love, loss, and the cold logic of revenge on a world that doesn't care if you live or die.
