Day of the Druid

In an age when gods walked openly among men and blood sacrifice kept the darkness at bay, one Norseman must cross a world he does not understand to save the woman he loves. Gaar is a warrior made for raiding and raiding alone, but when the Druid priests of the northern mist seize Marna under a curse that binds her very soul to their bloodthirsty god Be'al, he finds himself embarking on a journey that will test not just his strength but his understanding of the world itself. Alongside a handful of trusted companions, he must navigate treacherous waters teeming with Picts, breach the sacred groves where ancient magic still breathes, and confront priests who wield powers that would seem like sorcery to any man raised on Valhalla's tales. The Druids are not the simple witch doctors of campfire stories. They are something far older, far darker, and they have kept their secrets for millennia. What awaits Gaar at the end of his quest is not merely a battle for Marna's freedom, but a confrontation with forces that could unmake everything he believes about gods, magic, and the thin line between this world and the next. Day of the Druid is a rousing adventure in the tradition of early sword-and-sorcery, a story where love is a weapon, faith is a battlefield, and the oldest gods are not always the ones most worthy of worship.
