Creatures of Vibration
Carr Parker and his wife Ora have traded the comforts of Earth for the infinite dark between worlds, cruising the solar system aboard the Nomad with their Martian companion Mado. But nothing in their vagabond lives has prepared them for Titan, Saturn's mysterious moon, where the heavy cloud cover hides a civilization on the edge of madness. The vibrations emanating from Saturn's magnificent rings have been warping the Titanese for centuries, driving them toward violence, superstition, and ritual sacrifice. When Carr and Mado witness a human killing during a tribal ceremony, they trigger a chain of events that leaves them captured, imprisoned, and at the mercy of a people whose grip on sanity grows weaker by the day. An alliance with a young Titanese boy named Nazu offers their only hope of escape, but can trust survive when the very air they breathe seems to corrode reason? This is vintage space opera, pulsing with 1930s wonder and dread, where love is tested against impossible odds and the cosmos itself becomes a character in the drama.
