Cornelli
Published in 1892, 'Cornelli' by Johanna Spyri tells the story of a young girl living in Iller-Stream with her widowed father. When two Ladies of Culture are invited to influence her upbringing, their lack of genuine affection leads Cornelli to withdraw into herself.
