Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz
The Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz, edited in 1616, is the third manifesto of the Rosicrucian Fraternity. This allegorical romance, set in 1459, follows Christian Rosenkreuz's invitation to a miraculous castle to witness the Chymical Wedding of a king and queen. The book is notable for its symbolic narrative structure, divided into Seven Days, and its influence on later esoteric traditions. The first English translation was completed by E. Foxcroft in 1690, serving as a foundation for subsequent interpretations.
