Beowulf

In the misty, legendary reaches of early medieval Scandinavia, a monstrous shadow falls upon Heorot, the glorious mead-hall of King Hrothgar. Grendel, a creature of malevolent darkness, preys upon the Danes, leaving a trail of death and despair. Into this grim tableau strides Beowulf, a Geatish warrior of superhuman strength and unwavering courage. He answers Hrothgar's desperate plea, embarking on a series of colossal battles against not only Grendel but also his vengeful mother and, ultimately, a hoard-guarding dragon, each encounter a testament to his heroic might and the brutal world he inhabits.
