Arroyo

Arroyo, originally titled Histoire d’un ruisseau, is a work by French geographer and anarchist Élisée Reclus, published in the 19th century. The book explores the journey of a stream, detailing its interactions with nature and its various uses, such as fishing and navigation. Reclus draws an analogy between water and life, suggesting that humanity, like a river, can unite and flow together towards a greater purpose. This work is notable for its poetic style and philosophical insights into nature and society.
