Anno Domini 2071 is a steampunk utopian novelette by Pieter Harting, published in 1871 under the pseudonym Dr. Dioscorides. Originally titled Anno 2065, it reflects the societal changes of the time and includes forward-thinking concepts such as the Suffragette movement and Darwinian evolution. The book features imaginative inventions and ideas that were radical for its era, though it also contains elements of racial defamation. This edition is a translation of the 1870 Dutch version, showcasing Harting's vision of the future as seen from the perspective of the 19th century.
