And That's How It Was, Officer

The newlyweds didn't mean to start their marriage with a body count. When Homer and Joy's wedding reception gets crashed by Morton City's finest gangsters, Homer's eccentric Uncle Peter, a scientist with questionable ethics and a fondness for disintegrating serums, decides to 'handle' the situation in spectacular fashion. Now the mobsters are vanishing one by one, the Chief of Police is deeply confused, and the hapless couple are scrambling through a city full of colorful characters, from Homer's loyal but baffled friend Bag Ears Mulligan to criminal mastermind Hands McCaffery. Told entirely through Homer's increasingly frantic letters to a perplexed Chief of Police, this is a comedy of errors wrapped in a crime caper with a twist of science fiction absurdity. The real mystery isn't who killed the gangsters, it's whether the marriage will survive the honeymoon. Sholto blends laugh-out-loud humor with genuine heart, exploring what family loyalty looks like when your uncle is a mad scientist and your wedding gift is a crime wave.
