Alf's Button

A fictional novel written in the early 20th century. The story is set during World War I and follows the adventures of Private Alfred Higgins, a somewhat inept soldier who unexpectedly comes into possession of a magical button that grants him a djinn, whom he names Eustace. Throughout the narrative, Higgins navigates the challenges and absurdities of military life while grappling with the surreal powers
