Babies have weak neck muscles and heavy heads, and when a baby is shaken, the head flops back and forth, causing serious damage. Shaking a baby or child can cause sever injury, resulting in problems ranging from brain damage to death.”

“DO NOT put infants in a recovery position. They are not able to support themselves in this position. Instead, take the infant with you to call 9-1-1.”
