The Story of the Treasure Seekers
Meet the six Bastable children – Dora, Oswald, Dicky, Alice, Noël, and the delightfully named H.O. – a spirited brood facing a rather dire predicament. Their mother is gone, their father's business is ruined, and the grand "House of Bastable" has fallen on hard times. Determined to restore their family fortune, these resourceful siblings embark on a series of increasingly elaborate (and often disastrous) treasure-hunting schemes, from digging for gold in the garden to attempting a sherry business. Each escapade, narrated with charming self-importance by Oswald, inevitably leads to hilariously unintended consequences and a healthy dose of chaos.
