The Last Reformation

The Last Reformation, written by F. G. Smith and published in 1919, is a theological treatise that critiques contemporary church practices and advocates for a return to original apostolic principles. Smith addresses the dissatisfaction among Christian communities regarding ecclesiastical structures, emphasizing the need for unity among believers beyond denominational divides. He predicts a movement aimed at revitalizing the church through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, restoring its foundational truths as expressed in Scripture and fostering a collective identity in Christ.
